Hummingbird haiku

My friend and I was talking about hummingbirds, and how one approached her so close she thought it was placing a kiss upon her cheek— that vision inspired me to write 3 hummingbird haiku.

My grandmother use to say, "the appearance of a hummingbird is blessings being showered upon you, and sometimes it comes in the form of a kiss." I don’t know how true that is, but I’m going to pocket that golden nugget and wait upon the kiss of a hummingbird.
